Dr. Koen Lagae is a leading knee surgeon known for his expertise in complex ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and joint preservation. He leads the Knee Department at Monica Hospital in Antwerp, Belgium, and serves as Scientific Advisor at IRCCS Galeazzi in Milan. Trained at KU Leuven and fellowship-trained in the US and UK, he is the clinical successor of Prof. M. Martens and a reference in advanced knee surgery across Europe.
Dr. Lagae’s surgical focus includes ACL/PCL reconstruction, meniscal transplantation, and biologic cartilage repair.
